In the Written RoundTable, the Genie Class Grader drafts grades and feedback for each student based on your assessment criteria. Give the Genie custom instructions to tailor feedback the way you like it!

1. Select your assessment criteria in the settings of your Written RoundTable. Select if you want the Genie to grade using a Tally or Rubric (with a max score).
2. Click the three dots in the top right corner, then click Genie Class Grader.
3. Create any custom instructions for the written feedback by clicking "+ New Instruction" (eg. be concise, elaborate, ask a question, use examples, simplify language for English language learners, make it silly etc).
4. Choose if you want to give feedback for each criterion. (Pink toggle switch)
5. Click Generate.

6. The Genie will draft feedback and a preliminary score for each criterion. A yellow checkmark will appear beside their name in the list to show a draft has been made.

7. Click each student's name in the list to see the drafted grade and feedback. Make any edits that you'd like and click send. Please review carefully for accuracy before sending it to the student.

• This feature is in BETA and is available for premium accounts.
• You can redo the Genie Class Grader as many times as you'd like for an individual student or for the whole class.
• Once you send it to the student, you can't ask the Genie to reassess. You can still make changes to their assessment manually.
• Tailor the feedback according to custom instructions.
